Neelma Pyfrom

Youth Empowerment Coach/Life Coach, Living Lotus Youth Empowerment Coaching

Neelma Pyfrom is a Youth Empowerment Coach and a Life Coach with Living Lotus Youth Empowerment Coaching located in Mt. Pleasant, South Carolina. Living Lotus Life Coaching was born out of real life. Out of late-night talks, homework meltdowns, anxious spirals, big feelings in small bodies, and the deep realization that parenting and growing up in today’s world is harder than anyone prepared us for.

Neelma is a certified youth and parent coach, and before she ever became a professional in this field, she was a mom in the trenches asking the same questions so many parents ask: Am I doing this right? Why isn’t this working? How do I help without pushing too hard?

What began as a personal journey to better understand her own children’s emotional worlds grew into a passion for helping other families feel more confident, connected, and supported.

Through years of training in youth coaching, trauma-informed practices, emotional regulation, and communication, Neelma learned that behavior is rarely ever  “just behavior.” It’s communication. It’s stress. It’s unmet needs. It’s a nervous system asking for support.

Today, through individual coaching, group programs, and workshops, she works with tweens, teens, and parents to build emotional intelligence, resilience, executive functioning skills, and healthy communication habits. Her approach blends evidence-informed tools with empathy, humor, and real-world practicality, because growth has to fit into actual family life to work.

Neelma loves this work because she gets to witness real change: families arguing less and listening more, kids learning to trust themselves, parents finding their calm again, and households shifting from survival mode to connection.

Living Lotus is about walking alongside families as they navigate the messy, meaningful work of growing up and growing together. It’s about helping parents trust themselves again, helping kids feel seen and capable, and creating homes where emotions are safe, communication is honest, and no one has to do it alone.

Ideal Client

Neelma's ideal clients include tweens, teens, and young adults who are feeling anxious, overwhelmed, unmotivated, or unsure of themselves. Many are navigating anxiety, low mood or depression, major transitions, social pressure, academic stress, identity questions, or the emotional ups and downs that naturally accompany adolescence.

She also works closely with parents who quietly wonder if they are doing something wrong. They are trying their best but feel unsure, overwhelmed, or stuck in patterns that don’t seem to be working. They care deeply about their children’s emotional health and want to support them, yet often find themselves caught in constant conflict, guilt, or second-guessing.

In addition, she supports families as a whole, who want better communication, calmer homes, and stronger, more connected relationships.

Based in the Charleston area, Neelma works with families locally and virtually across the United States.

Business Power Partners

Neelma frequently collaborates with and receives referrals from mental health professionals, school counselors, educators, pediatricians, and primary care providers who work closely with children, teens, and families.

She also connects with tutors, academic coaches, college counselors, learning specialists, and executive functioning coaches who support students navigating academic and organizational challenges.

In addition, she partners with wellness and community-based professionals such as occupational therapists, speech therapists, physical therapists, yoga instructors, mindfulness teachers, and holistic health practitioners who share a commitment to supporting emotional wellbeing.

Local schools, youth organizations, parenting groups, and community centers are also valuable referral partners, as they are often the first to hear when families are seeking additional support.
