Multiply Your Reach—and Ours—with a Simple Social Media Habit
Three tips to increase your visibility, your fellow members’ visibility, and promote SHE Leads Group
We all know time is tight—especially when it comes to marketing our own businesses. But did you know that referral marketing remains the #1 way to grow your business? It’s also how SHE Leads Group grows. And one of the easiest ways to give and get referrals is through social media visibility.
Here are three simple ways you can help increase your own visibility, your fellow members’ visibility, and promote SHE Leads Group at the same time:
1) Promote Your Fellow Members
Repost or share your fellow chapter members’ business promotions, announcements, or events. When you do, tag them so they’re notified, and your support is visible. Not only does this strengthen relationships, but it helps their business get more exposure—and they may return the favor.
2) Talk About Your Group—and Tag It
Members of other networking organizations often post about their group on their personal or business Facebook page. That simple act creates awareness. But what many of those posts are missing is a powerful tool: tagging.
Tagging your fellow members and the official SHE Leads Group Facebook or LinkedIn page—multiplies your post’s visibility. When you tag someone, your post can show up in their feed and potentially be seen by their network. That one post doesn’t just stay in your feed—it ripples outward and can reach hundreds (even thousands) more people.
3) Answer the “Where Should I Network?” Question
I frequently see posts in local Facebook groups where someone asks, “Where’s a good place to network?” and members of other groups quickly chime in with recommendations for their own networking community. That’s powerful—and completely free word-of-mouth marketing. If you see these opportunities, take a moment to share your positive experience with SHE Leads Group.
Imagine This:
If every member of every chapter posted just once per month about their positive experience in SHE Leads Group—and tagged their fellow members—our collective reach would grow exponentially. It’s a small action with the potential for huge impact.
What Should You Post?
Here are a few easy ideas to get you started:
- A shout-out to a fellow member for a referral or great 1:1
- A takeaway or quote from your most recent chapter meeting
- A reminder to attend an upcoming guest day or event
- A story about how SHE Leads Group has helped you grow professionally
- A business or networking tip you learned through the group
- A photo from a chapter meeting or event (don’t forget to tag!)
- A share or repost from the SHE Leads Group Facebook page or my LinkedIn account
Need Help?
We’ve created a member’s social media folder with graphics, post ideas, and ready-to-use content (accessible from the member's area of the website). Or you can simply reshare posts from the SHE Leads Group – Supporting Heart & Enterprise public Facebook page or my LinkedIn profile.
Just remember—always tag fellow members when you post. It takes just a second and helps expand our reach.
This is something presidents, secretaries, regional directors, and members can all commit to doing just once per month. It doesn’t take long, and it doesn’t have to be perfect—just authentic and consistent.
Small efforts like this create momentum—not just for your business, but for your chapter and the entire SHE Leads Group community.
Let’s support one another publicly and watch what happens when we all commit to amplifying each other.

What does SHE stand for?
SHE is more than a leads group - SHE Leads Group exists to support women in business development roles. SHE Members are women in business who appreciate the role many women have being a full-time caregiver to loved ones and advancing their full-time career or business. The letters “S H E” stand for Supporting Heart & Enterprise ®. Heart is our families, or anything near and dear and personal to us. Enterprise is our business or career. Members are expected to uphold the values and culture for which SHE stands. Every member of SHE Leads Group should desire to be a resource to each other. SHE Leads Group is more than just a leads group. We are a group of supportive women who truly want to help others in any way possible.
