Get the Most Out of Your Membership
Simple but Powerful Tips to Get More ROI on Membership
At SHE Leads Group, I love hearing the powerful testimonials from members who get a strong return on their membership investment. One thing they all have in common? They use their benefits—fully and consistently. Some of our members have been with us since the very beginning, and they’re still here because they continue to see results.
If you’re wondering how to get even more ROI out of your membership, here are some simple but powerful ways to do just that:
1. Prioritize Visibility – Be Top of Mind
In marketing, there's a concept called Top of Mind Awareness (TOMA). People tend to refer the names they see and hear the most or are top of their mind. That’s why attendance at your chapter meetings is so important. When you're consistently present, your fellow members remember you—and you remember them. This mutual visibility is what fuels referrals. Our attendance policy exists not as a formality, but as a foundational principle for referral success. Poor chapter attendance is one of the most common reasons why some chapters struggle to grow and retain members.
2. Be a Guest Trainer/Speaker
As a business owner, you’ve likely mastered a skill or process that could benefit others. Whether it's time management, organization, vendor evaluation, or how you stay motivated—there’s something you do exceptionally well that others could learn from. Premium and Enterprise members can request to present a professional development or business-related training to any chapter where their business category is not already represented.
This isn’t just a speaking opportunity—it’s strategic visibility. If you're a B2B service provider, these trainings are especially valuable for showcasing your expertise, building credibility, and earning the know-like-trust factor that leads to referrals or even new clients.
If you’d like to present at your own chapter, talk to your Chapter President about getting on the training schedule. If you’d like to present to multiple chapters, schedule a time with me here:

3. Attend Additional Networking Events
Your chapter is just the beginning. SHE Leads Group hosts additional events to help you grow your network beyond your core group. One often-overlooked gem is our monthly virtual business-category-exclusive Speed Networking event. I personally match attendees with others they should meet—whether that’s potential referral partners, excellent networkers, or even prospective clients. These events also bring in 40–50% new guests, offering a rich mix of new connections. Everyone has a chance to share their commercial with the group. Members attend for free using promo code SHEFREE—guests pay $15. These events are fast-paced, high-impact, and packed with opportunity.
4. Engage in Our Social Media Groups
Don’t forget about our private Facebook and LinkedIn groups exclusively for members. These groups are designed for connection, promotion, collaboration, and support. Introduce yourself, share your latest event, post an ask, or celebrate a win. Many members have found leads and support just by showing up in these spaces. It works—if you work it!
5. Schedule a 1:1 with the Founder
If it’s been a while since we’ve connected, let’s change that. I meet new businesswomen every week, and I may have new introductions for you. In this 30-minute conversation, we’ll talk about your goals, celebrate your wins, and identify ways I can support your success. This meeting is all about YOU.

6. Deliver a Purposeful, Memorable Commercial
At every chapter meeting and event, you’ll have an opportunity to introduce yourself. Make it count. Include your name, your business name, and what sets you apart. Share why you do what you do, what makes your work unique, and the types of clients or referral partners you’re looking for. Share recent success stories to bring your value to life. There’s a training available in the members-only section of our website that walks you through crafting a compelling SHE commercial—be sure to take advantage of it.
7. Have 1:1s With Members and Guests
Take the initiative to meet one-on-one with fellow members and guests. These meetings build relationships, deepen trust, and often uncover referral opportunities. And when you reach out to guests, you create a warm, welcoming experience that reflects positively on you and on SHE Leads Group. Don’t dismiss someone based on their business category—you never know who they know or what circles they run in. Be curious, be generous, and build connections that count.
Final Thoughts
Membership is like a gym membership—you get out of it what you put into it. The tools are all here. The opportunities are ready. The community is waiting for you to engage. The most successful members aren’t necessarily the ones with the biggest businesses or flashiest brands—they’re the ones who show up, connect, contribute, and use their benefits.
So ask yourself: Am I using everything my membership offers me?
If the answer is “not yet,” that’s okay. Today is a great day to start.
Let’s make this the season where you see just how powerful your SHE Leads Group membership can be.
