A Transaction Does Not Constitute a Loyal Relationship

You may have the privilege of selling a great product or service. Your company might even have competitive pricing. Your company has great introductory offers and promotions to capture new customers. In fact, you have your Unique Sales Proposition (USP) crafted perfectly to tell people how what you are selling is different and better than your competition. But there is something very important missing. A loyal relationship!

Everything above is about making a transaction. Nothing about those things fosters and builds a loyal relationship. Sure, it can get someone to buy something from you one time, but it won't make them raving fans and repeat, loyal customers. For that you need to be great at building strong, authentic, loyal relationships.

Being in a leads group is no different. Without loyal relationships that strengthen and grow with your fellow leads group members, you will not reap all the benefits you could. Sure, they may refer when they know of someone who needs your services, but they won't go out of their way to find you a connection or to really sell you. And, if they know of another person who does what you do, as good as you do it and for a lower price, you will likely lose their referrals to the other person if you don't have a strong relationship.

It's been proven that if you have a loyal relationship, people are likely to pay more. Not only that, but they will also be your best referring customers. If something goes wrong, those loyal customers will be the ones who tell you about it and the best way to fix it. Building long term, loyal relationships is often overlooked in business. For many it is about making as many transactions as possible, as fast as possible.

At SHE Leads Group, we offer business development training to help members grow loyal relationships with their fellow members and their customers. SHE Leads Group is about creating long-term, loyal relationships. Find out why SHE Leads Group is so different. Visit a chapter soon!
