Lisa Dittmar is the owner of Dittmar Fitness and Health in Summerville, SC. She, her husband and daughter moved to the low country from the state of WA in December of 2021. Originally from Louisville, KY, Lisa began her career as a Radiation Therapist. Over the years and due to a changing market, Lisa moved on to become the CEO of a large healthcare staffing firm and eventually followed her passion of helping people get fit and healthy. After working in a physical therapy office for 8 years, Lisa launched her own business. Dittmar Fitness and Health provides personal training, online fitness and nutrition programs, and individualized health coaching. Most recently, Stronger Than Menopause: a 6-week online strength training and nutrition guide, was launched with a focus primarily on peri and post-menopausal women. Lisa understands that as we age, it's critical to develop strong skeletal muscle, maintain and BUILD bone density and eliminate negative self-talk. Society has conditioned women to manage this "second round of puberty" in private, feeling as though the side effects during this hormonal shift are the result of us "getting older" and that we need to just accept what is. It's time we break away from this way of thinking and develop practices that help us THRIVE, not just survive, this beautiful new chapter!
