I'm Beth Boen, Founder of SHE Leads Group. I have been in leads groups for 20 years. I have been a part of Chamber of Commerce leads groups, independent leads groups, and the big corporate leads groups. I was a great lead passer and connector. I was at every meeting unless I was legitimately sick or on vacation. No fake excuses from me; I loved being in leads groups. In each leads group I participated in, I had longevity in that group. After all, one primary focus of leads groups is developing and fostering ongoing referral relationships. You get no where fast if you are a leads group hopper.

The last leads group I was in before starting SHE Leads Group was one in which the President had no compassion for when life happened. My world was turned upside down when a family illness prompted me to ask for a hiatus. I had been in this group for three years. I had a business category that is not at all competitive (I am a business development and customer service trainer - My business is The Voice Customer Experience). Upon asking for the hiatus, the President said, "Either you are here all the time, or you are not here at all." I said "Goodbye".

I was on a quest for a new leads group - one that had everything I was looking for. After all, if I was going to move to a different leads group, I wanted it to be everything I needed to be successful. After visiting numerous different chapters of the big corporate leads groups and independent leads groups, I realized there was no leads group that had everything I wanted. I thought to myself, "I've been networking in Denver for 10 years. I know people. I can start my own little independent leads group chapter."

So, I did just that in May of 2016. I took everything I did not like about leads groups and got rid of those business practices that were not productive. I added everything I was looking for in a leads group that no single leads group offered. Out of this, a VERY different kind of leads group was born.

In the late fall of 2017, women started seeking SHE Leads Group out and asking me to start new chapters. Our expansion is fairly new, but we are doing it right. We never want to lose sight of our culture, values, and every little ingredient to our "secret sauce" that makes us so different and appealing to women in business development roles. And, I might add, we are always improving upon our recipe for success, as the women in SHE Leads Group, are open and share ideas of what they want.

Our "secret sauce" recipe is confidential, but here is a small taste of what you will enjoy at SHE Leads Group:

  • A culture that is inviting like no other group - guests say, "I felt so welcome"
  • Everyone caring for each other with no cliques and no gossip
  • An attitude of genuinely helping one another in whatever way possible
  • A meeting schedule for busy women
  • A "when life happens" attendance policy that promotes being at meetings, but allows for compassion when needed
  • Not any warm body - we're focused on quality, not quantity
  • Fun and productive meetings where members come away with knowledge to be more successful in their business

SHE Leads Group is a very different kind of leads group and much more than just a leads group. If you want to experience the SHE difference, visit a chapter near you where your business category is not already occupied by a member. We welcome guests!
