What I have found in leads groups is there are some people who are natural-born promoters and others who need some training on how to promote fellow members. Beyond the lead, how can members in a leads group promote one another on social media?

1. Connect with fellow members on social media. When a fellow member posts something about their business, the other members can help by sharing and commenting on the other member's post.

2. When having a one-on-one over coffee with a fellow member in your leads group, take a picture of your meeting and post it on social media with a promotional blurb about the other person. For example, if the marketing content writer in the group is meeting with the graphic designer, they can take a selfie or take a picture of their coffee cup and write something like, "Having a great one-on-one meeting with Jane Doe of XYZ Graphic Designer. She is showing me her online portfolio and it is amazing [add web link]"

3. Watch for people asking for referrals on social media. NextDoor, Alignable, and Facebook are ones where I constantly see people asking for referrals. "Does any one of a good [fill in the blank]?" When I see these, I make sure to respond if there is a member in SHE Leads Group in that business category. I also add in my recommendation as to why they are so much better than any other [name of business] category. I include their website and contact information. And, if I have worked with them personally, I give a testimonial on how they helped me.

4. Provide online recommendations, testimonials and reviews for fellow members you would stake your reputation on.
