My passion for connecting people has fed my soul and so has SHE Leads Group! With the new year, comes new goals and what exciting ones they are for SHE Leads Group.

When I started SHE Leads Group in early 2016 as a one-off leads group for me to network my customer experience consulting and customer service training company (The Voice Customer Experience), I had no idea that what I was building would be so appealing to so many women.

In 2018 women came forward asking me to start new chapters. I honestly had no plan to do so, but I thought, "Sure, this is fun!" I went on to start some chapters without a plan in place. Well, rule number one to building a business is to have a plan and me, of all people, should have known better. But, I was having fun meeting wonderful women and frankly, with my "can do", optimistic attitude, I have a hard time saying, "no".

In December, I did some more soul searching and realized I really wanted to get serious about helping more women and empowering them to build their businesses. I wrote my marketing plan, which included really articulating the culture, values, vision and mission of SHE. Implementation began and lots of cool things have been happening behind the scenes to grow SHE Leads Group beyond Denver metro. Our goal is to expand not only in metro Denver, Colorado, but up and down the Front Range in 2019 and beyond! Cities from Fort Collins to Colorado Springs will be able to have one or more SHE Leads Groups.

Some exciting things that have been happening include:

  • SHE Leads Group will be offering women the opportunity to start their own chapters. Women who are well-connected and believe in what SHE Leads Group stands for can apply to start a chapter. A compensation plan that includes commissions and a free Premium membership are just some of the benefits to running a SHE Leads Group chapter.

  • In early February, SHE submitted their application to trademark the name to the U.S. Patent Office. This is not a requirement if we were to only stay in Colorado, but to take our unique model for leads groups beyond the state of Colorado, this was something we needed to do.

  • SHE Leads Group members have access to an extensive library of business development training on the back end of our website. As part of our marketing plan, we are enhancing these training presentations and adding more new ones. Part of our training is also going to take part in our blogs. These will be articles that tackle smaller topics than in our training library. The format of our meetings is slightly changing, too, in an effort to provide members more value.

I can't tell you all the behind the scenes trade secrets and ingredients to our "secret sauce", but what I can tell you is how absolutely exciting this is for me. I love connecting people! Additionally, with my 30+ years of sales, marketing and customer service experience, being able to train and empower women to grow their business feeds my soul!
